Bachelor of Science in Business Management
156 Week Program
This program is designed to prepare students seeking employment in business management and managerial levels of the business market.
Students will receive instruction to gain mastery over the principles, methods, and procedures of business management, and will gain a broad understanding and appreciation for other elements of the management perspective such as finance, communications, economics, graphic design, and business law.
Students who complete this program will understand the systems and procedures of organizing and planning office work, controlling employees’ performance, and exercising leadership skills that can make the modern employer-employee relationship a pleasant, reward and successful experience.
This program will help prepare graduates with the necessary knowledge and skills for employment opportunities in entry-level management positions, such as: cost clerks, supervisors, office managers, marketing representatives, etc.
- Students will be able to solve problems using appropriate monetary financial concepts and procedures.
- Students will be able to apply various business decision-making strategies.
- Students will be able to apply environmental, economic, legal, and cultural business behaviors and operations.
- Students will demonstrate competency in fundamental economic concepts.
- Students will demonstrate professional business communication.
Students will have the opportunity to sit for the following certification exams:
- Microsoft Office Specialist (MOS) in Office Excel Certification.
- Visual Design Adobe Photoshop Certification.
- Intuit QuickBooks Online Certification.
- Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt Certification.
