An Associate of Applied Science degree in Medical Coding and Billing Systems prepares students for a career in the medical coding and billing realm.

These healthcare professionals translate medical documentation into codes and submit the paperwork necessary for insurance and billing purposes.

Graduates of this program will gain the knowledge needed to work in outpatient facilities, hospitals, long-term care facilities, doctor’s offices, insurance companies, and many other employment settings related to the health care administration field.
